THIS MUST BE MAGIC

Aim: To separate colours by using the process of chromatography.
Definition: A technique for separating the different parts of a mixture / solid using liquid.

Materials:

Chromatography paper 

Ruler 

Three pens 

Cup

  Water

Steps:

1. Rule two cm one one side 

2. Rule one cm on the other side long ways

3. fold cm line

4.draw three circles with the colours on the one cm line 

5. Put it in the water 

What happen?

Well the colours spreed across the paper and they mostly made black.

Dirty Water Filtration

Welcome back fans

Today we did experiment on filtration and we made a filter with:

Wet sand, Stones, filter sheet, Water battle, gross water.

What is a Filtration?

Well it is taking the liquid out of a solid. 

Aim: Our aim is to filter some gross water to clear and clean water. 

Here are some Examples:

1. Coffee plunger

2. Tea bag

3. Pool filter.
4. kidney 

The steps

Step One. Cut the cup with a sharp object e.g craft knife 

Step Two. get your filter paper fulled it in to a cone 

Step Three. get one cup and fill it half way with wet sand and then repeat but with rocks add it to you filter

Step four. Wait that's it just wait if it works you will have to wait for an hour plus.

My groups filter was the most clearest of them all we only had a little puddle of water it was still a bit dirty.

6 Steps on How to Not Let Your Water Freeze Overnight

Today I gathered a lot of information on this 

subject I had lots of fun doing this hope you like it.

Questions:

What do we need to find out?

Task One

How much salt do you have to put in a cup of water so it does not freeze overnight:

With the information that I have gathered it seems that salt melts ice so it doesn't really matter how much you put in but to be safe I would put in a Tablespoon in it will dissolve and stay in the water.

How we will find out

We will find out by experimenting for our own wording of what is going on.

How will we record what we find.

We could do alot of things eg. on a doc, powtoon anything you can write on really.

What equipment do we need.

1.Glass

2.Water

3.Salt

4.Freezer.

How long will it take.

It will take one night and a few minutes.

Task Two

What are the steps that you will take to make the experiment?

1.Get a glass cup

2.fill it up with water

3.Get a tablespoon out, put salt on it.

4.put it in the water.

5.leave it in the freezer overnight.

6. Get it out and document what happened.
