Our trip to Orana Park

Orana Park

God dag Today I will be telling you about the trip to Orana Park wildlife with Bh.

So we went there because we were learning about climate change and we were learning how it will affect the animals and their life. We went on a bus and the bus driver was very slow  We saw Meerkats, Spider monkeys, we went through the farm part just as a short cut that took us to the bird sanctuary, and there we saw keas. The keas scared a few of us when they flew over us and landed on the rooftop. We learned a lot about these animals so far. After that, we went straight to the lions we got told they did something to the males so they did not have a mane. We also visited the Tyger but it was not out yet. We also saw a lot of other animals I will finish this post another day

Green House Outdoor Classroom (Weeding part one)

Hello Welcome back

Today in C.I.P we have been working on our outdoor classroom in this subject, we were weeding the area we were trying to get rid of Ivy (it is very hard to get rid of with your hands)
We had to get rid of it because it will spread everywhere and it already has gotten everywhere. We also pulled out roots of small trees and rack up the leafs ect.
In the outdoor classroom, spring has sprung there is this cool cherry blossom tree that has started to spring.

Time to be physical!!

Welcome back
last week we started our new Hurumanu called We're on each other's team. This is a PE based Hurumanu being taught by Mr Goodfellow and Miss Tozer.
The key things we are learning about during this Hurumanu are:
- How we can show commitment to the physical activity we learn.
- The history of particular games.
- How we can communicate well when working in a team together.

We played a really fun game called Bench Ball. The aim of this game was to pass the ball between your teammates without moving to try and get the ball to the person on your team that was standing on the bench. If they caught it when you join them on the bench. The winning team is the team who gets all their teammates on the bench.

Check out these awesome photos and videos from hurumanu...

Here's a Video a bit of the game:

Thank you for reading/watching our post.

Skittles The magic with in them

Skittles The magic with in them.

In week five We worked with Skittles (hard things to work with) (that was just a joke)

The Aim: To separate colours by using the process of chromatography.
Materials

1.Skittles
2. Water
3. Plate

Process:
Step 1 get you plate out
Step 2 put your skittles around the plate
Step 3 put about 1/2 cups of water on the plate
Step 4 watch the magic happen.
Step 5 document what happens

My findings are:
Well the magic stated by the skittles colour started escaping the skittle and into the water.

What have I have learned from this well that the colours do not stay in the skittles.
and go in the water.
The colours for my group did not join together.
I think you should not but the together because they will look cool apart.
Here is what my groups one looks like
HOPE YOU LIKE IT BYE BYE
