Script for Drama

Welcome Back

Today We made a scraped
on google docs about a girl called Nevaehlinne (Nevaeh lin) I wrote it with Risha, Elisha Mae and Shreya I hope you like our script

All work on stage and get into poses
Elisha Mae and Shreya:
Welcome back to ESNR News!

Elisha Mae:  Today Risha is going to be interviewing Nevaehlinne about her upcoming movie called “Golden Bay”.

Shreya:  Off to you Risha

*Elisha Mae and Shreya go behind the brick prop and wait for eternity*

Risha: ⤵️
Thank you, Shreya and Elisha Mae. I’m behind the scenes of “Golden Bay” talking to the one and only Nevaehlinne about how she controls her feelings. Let’s go. So the first thing is “How do you control your feelings when you are on the camera and off the camera?”

Nevaehlinne: When I am on a scene I will have to wait an hour or so and then go into my dressing room and when I am at home I just go into my room and have a break.

Risha: ⤵️
Ok so what if your mum and dad were having a fight for a week what would you do? Would you let it go or do something?

Nevaehlinne: if it is a big thing I would take them to the set because they like to be in the set with me and others and if it is a small thing I will just let it slip.

Risha:⤵️Well, you have heard from   Neavehlinne herself what she does to control her feelings. This is Risha behind the scenes of “Golden Bay”. Reporting out.

*Everyone walks off the stage on the left Nevaehlinne walks slow down steps and gracefully  *

Next time I would like to do some more questions but this is very good in a couple of days I hope you like our script if you have any Ideas on making it better please comment them down.

Why do we have each of the parts?
Fill in the table below.

To get power from the sun to move around.
    Laser
Is for detecting things in the distance. They are like a Eye.
    Camera
the camera is for taking photos of the land or where you are.
    Shovel, rock pick,drill
it is for if there was a big rock that looked  different to any other rock there and pick it up.

Forensic Science

Forensic Science

1. Write the definition of forensic science in your own words?
Scientific tests or techniques used in connection with the detection of crime.

2. What are the 5 different things that forensic scientists do?
  • visit crime scenes to find evidence
  • take notes and draw sketches of crime scenes
  • analyse physical evidence such as fibres, glass, debris, firearms, bullets and marks made by tools or weapons
  • identify drugs found on people, in body fluids or at crime scenes
  • analyse biological evidence such as hair, blood and other body fluids

Look at the "What you will do" section on the careers website.

Fingerprints

Aim: To look at the different types of fingerprints.

Materials:

  1.   Balloon
  2.  Inkpad
  3.   human finger or your finger

Steps
  1. Get your finger
  2. Put it on an ink pad
  3.   Take it off.
  4. Place it on the balloon for about 10 seconds index finger on one side let dry and the thumb on the other on.
  5.   blow up the balloon
  6. inspect your finger and document

Record the types of fingerprints from those in your group.

Name
Fingerprint 1 (Thumb)
Fingerprint 2 (index finger)
NevaehWhorlWhorl
Shreya WhorlArch

Questions:
Do people always have the same type of fingerprint on their thumb and index finger?
No, because we are all different from each other.

What was the most common type of fingerprint in your group?
the most common fingerprint was Whorl.

Hidden fingerprints:

Aim: To learn how to lift hidden fingerprints from an object.

1. Lifting and Gathering fingerprints.

Equipment:
  1.   Powder
  2.   clear thin paper
  3.   black cardboard
  4.   tape
  5.   your finger that does not have ink on it
  6. Makeup brush
Method:
  1. Get your thin pace of clear paper and put your finger on it
  2. wait one minute then release it from the paper
  3.   Get your powered and dip your brush lightly into the powder
  4.  place your brush on the clear paper
  5.  put your tape over your powder stick your fingerprint
  6. then place the tape over the black cardboard
  7. then you should have a fingerprint
Conclusion Questions:

Did you manage to lift clear fingerprints?
Yes, I and Shreya lifted fingerprints.

What could you do to improve your results next time?
Maybe we could add less powder on the fingerprints

Why do you think fingerprints are useful to crime scene investigators?
because each and every fingerprint are different so it would help with who took anything.

Thanks for reading my blog post Bye comment on this blog post how you have done.

In Science hurumanu this term we have done some really cool experiments.
We have done scone making, deciduous and evergreens, crystals etc.
My favourite experiment is to filter water. My group was Risha, Shreya, and Elisha Mae; we succeed in the filter experiment. The aim of this experiment was to make a filtration plant using household materials. We used stones, sand, water bottle, filter paper. When I did it at home, the filter paper did not work but it was still so much fun to make it at home. I also did the how to not let water freeze when it is in the freezer overnight.

The grossest one would also be the filter water one that is because the water it was made out of coffee bean grinds, mud, dirty water (from a dirty puddle yuck) just some more gross liquids. The point of the filter was to make the water a little cleaner my groups was really clean well, not the cleanest but clean.

People Smart
I can work successfully with others. Why I picked this one is because in science most of the time we work in pairs or groups. Most of the time my group was Elisha Mae, Shreya, Risha and me. We work very well together. We successfully did most of the activities in the time we are given.

Active Learner
I use feedback to improve my learning. Why I picked this one is because in my spare time I check my blog every now and then and read my comments to see if I have any feedback or feedforward to work on and that is apart of how I use feedback to improve my learning.

Learning Smart
I ask for help when I don’t understand what to do. Why I picked this one is because when I am stuck on what I or we are doing I will put my hand up and ask for another expansion of what I am up to.

Thinking Smart
I understand other’s opinions and ideas. Why I picked this one is because I let others put ideas in, not just have my ideas in the projects or in this case experiments.

Next time I would like to add more experiments but for now, it is plenty.

What is that White power

Today you will be a forensic chemist.
A bag of white powder has been confiscated by the airport customs.  You need to find out what white powder it is?

Aim: To learn about the makeup of different white powders.

There are  a number of different white powders in our everyday life. Some of these are harmful and others are not. Test the four white powders listed to see which one has been found at the airport.

Here are some examples of everyday kitchen white powders.

Flour, Cornflour, Sugar, Salt, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Icing Sugar, Tartaric Acid

Citric Acid, Gluten Free flour

You will be given a small amount of 4 white powders on your cardboard. On the black cardboard using a magnifying glass look at the powders.
Look at them under your magnifying glass and record what you see.

These are the four powders we will be using. Upload a photo of each powder.

1.  Cornflour
2.  Baking Soda
3.  Salt
4.  Sugar

Before you add the iodine, vinegar or water you will need to divide each powder into 3.
