Is your name important to you? When thinking about it your name is how people will first get to know you. Your name is what people use to call you by if everyone had the same name then no one would know who is who. Your name is used for a lot of things such as jobs. You could change your name and it can change your name but it will still be important. So to restate my opinion that your name is an important part of who you are.
