P.E Hurumanu Teaching Bench ball 🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃
Teaching Bench ball 🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃
Bonjour, this term in P.E we all got the chance to teach the class on a sport of our choice. We were put into random groups. My group choose Bench ball it was a good choice because we already knew the rules and how to play and the setup. Our group was successful because we were organised we had what we were doing ready very fast. I had the role to Lead one of our drills. I contributed to my team by helping sort out the teams and doing some of the drills. What we could do next time well next time we could have less baby game because our game were sneak up on granny and piggy in the middle. I learned that it is very important to talk to your team to get the ball to you and that it is easier to self refer when you are playing the game. My personal opinion on this hurumanu is very good I like this hurumanu.

Too Many weeds
To many weeds
Hello Today In Tane Mahata we worked on weeding the garden. We used shovels pitchforks and our hands (with gloves on). Not everyone was working because they were fascinated by the insects of the garden (worms etc). In the end, we did two areas one with native trees and the other with vegetables.Monday, October 21, 2019
NEW BOOK!!!!
A New Book
Hi, guys this week I am reading a new book called I am Malala. I really recommend this book to anyone. In class, we have done this thing called Novel studies we have been doing this about four times a week. Not all the class has this book there are other books. The book is written by Malala Yousafzai. This book is how a man that says that girls can’t go to school and go out of their homes and not go shopping, the Taliban took over her region. On the 9th of October 2012, Malala was shot in the head. No one expected her to survive. But after a long time in a hospital, she is now fighting for the right for girls like her. She even won the Nobel Peace Prize. In Malala’s family, her dad and mum ran an only girls school. She has two brothers. Would you like to read I Am Malala why or why not?

Week nine visit to Mega air
Week nine visit to Mega Air
Hello welcome back today I will be telling you about our trip to mega air last term in week nine
It was a fun experience we also had other activities when we got back from mega air we were split into two groups. One group went first in the morning and the second group went after later in the day. I was in group one so I went first. We were there for about two hours but it felt like 15 minutes. We had to take our shoes and socks off and we watched a short clip on the rules. Then we got to go on the trampolines. There were different areas of different types of styles of bouncing like flips and normal bouncing. We all bounced a lot it was time to go back to school. It was lunchtime when we got back so we ate then we played the sports that were organised by the older students. We played tug of war, ki-O-Rahi and capture the flag they were fun games to play but before we played them we got but into teams they were different countries, for example, New Zealand and Australia it was a fun time that day.
Bye
