New Learning on Social studies

 Kia ora, bonjour, Hola, Guten Tag, Konnichiwa, Nǐn hǎo, Salve and Zdravstvuyte 

Today in Social studies we are learning about cultural hate and the different types of hate, so today I will tell you what I have learnt in this class. First of all, I learnt how the different races, they stereotyped by others for example Asians are smart, technological people but they are not just that they can be a lot more than that. Here is writing about it from Zeinab a girl at  Riccarton High School. Writing link. We have learnt about Asain hate and how they are normally portrayed in movies ect. We learnt about Lgbtq+ Community, (Homophobic people). And how in New Zealand into 1960 people from the outside Islands were invited in and then 15 years later they were kicked out because the funding was falling, also how at dawn they got dragged out of their house taken to jail, and or kicked out. This is whats I have learnt about, one thing I have taken away from this class was that heaps of people give hate for no reason or because of someone’s skin colour.
