I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Natasha here - I'm a year 11 from Hornby High and I'm going to be looking at a couple of your Summer Learning Journey blog posts and giving you a bit of feedback. So far I'm super impressed!
This is an extremely well made book cover, I can definitely tell what the focal point of your cover is and the colours purple and yellow go quite perfectly together - this is because they are exact opposites on the colour wheel! I also like that you've briefly explained what the activity is that you've chosen :)
It could've been quite cool (just for future reference) to put an image of the original book cover next to it so your viewers could compare, but this is of course optional and you've done an awesome job either way! Is 'Guts' your favourite book?
I really enjoyed reading your blog post and looking at the book cover you've designed, Nevaeh. I can't wait to see what you do next :)
